Honestly I could give it 6 stars. This jacket is THE BEST JACKET on Amazon. As an avid skier in UT and MT, I was in search of a great jacket that can get me the most bang for my buck. I researched countless hours online before making my pick. All other jackets are $500 and up for premium quality. The Fanatic jacket in my opinion meets all the requirements. Pit vents, thin insulation, big hood, comfortable wear and unique style. It has great pockets for items and is light enough that you will not feel dragged down on the mountain. However the best part is still to come. After an initial price of $500 online and in store, Amazon sold it to me for $98! This is a STEAL IN THE CLOTHING WORLD. If you are a shopper who is looking for an exceptional jacket with an AMAZING PRICE. Please look no further and buy the jacket now. You will not regret it.After reading several reviews where people claimed that this jacket ran small, I ordered both an XL and a L to see which fit better (I normally wear a large). The XL ran true to size, and was too big. It's a shame, as I really like it. I was then hopeful for the L, which fit well, except for the arms. I'm only 5'9", so most of the time I have a problem with the sleeves being too long on jackets. On this jacket, when I put my thumbs in the stretch cuffs (one of the jackets selling point, in my opinion), I then couldn't fully straighten my arms as I was restricted, which is not a good thing for skiing. Sadly, I had to return both jackets, and will have to keep shopping for a new ski coat.I like everything about this jacket. I buy this brand for my son for the last 6 years and so. The jacket fits very well and the colors are vibrant. It is a bit loose but I bought him an XL. There is room for a sweater or a sweatshirt under.Didn’t like the helmet hood on this jacket. I’d wear it skiing and it’s be fine but the hoods kind of useless when shoveling snow or sleigh riding when your not wearing a helmet.Perfect fit for my teen, love that the hood has the ability to go over the helmet on those wet ski days .greatOrdered a size larger than normal and it fit perfectly.
