I like the box - seems solid, lid works great, matches my decor. However, the lock is garbage. If you ever manage, finally, to successfully lock the thing, then all you’ve done is made it super annoying to get to your watches! That is, if you can ever get it to unlatch! Will you have to break the glass lid is the box you just spent a hundred bucks on? Fingers crossed… I just made sure it was unlocked and threw away the key!I really loved this valet. It was one of the best I've ever seen, with the exception of a few quality control issues. I had to return it though.1. The handle on the drawer was crooked.2. The top right corner was not trimmed, folded and glued properly3. There was a glue dot or something right on the front of the valet coverThese were all minor things, but I saw them every time I looked at the valet and it didn't make me feel like it was a special box holding my valuable watches. I will probably take my chances and order this valet again hoping for better results.This was purchased for my husband for Christmas. He has started purchasing high end watches and wanted a nice case to store them in. He loves it and it protects his watches and keeps them organized. Very pleased with the purchase!It is a brand new product and it should not be falling apart.I would of given it five stars had the bottom drawer not got stuck on leather trim that wasn't secured in place. This seems to be a ongoing issue as I read in other reviews. We will attempt to fix it. All in all my husband really likes it.I'm very happy with this leather watch box w/ valet drawer. After about 3 months of ownership it's staying together with no wear. Holds all my everyday carrier items well. Hinges and drawers all work well.Had a small issue with the drawer on arrival. Contacted the company directly and they immediately made it right by sending out a replacement.It's a nice looking box and pretty well put together, more so than the usual offerings from China. The lid, having two hinges has a quality feel too. I haven't tried the lock, but that's more for the prevention of childrens sticky fingers getting in than anyrhing else. The drawer is nicely finished and very snug fitting which also adds to the quality feel. The cushions are probably the only weak point. While the covering is a nice material, the cushions themselves do not compress very much at all. It was a bit of a letdown for what is otherwise, a very nice box. I have a couple of Wolf stackable boxes and while more expenive, the cushions are of a much higher quality and do not put stress on the spring bars/bracelets for those with a smaller wrist.Purchased as a wedding anniversary present for my husband April 22. The box is just beautiful, so pleased with it. Fab quality inside & out. Glass lid perfect for his watches as they charge via daylight. Very happy I chose this box as I looked at many.On first inspection the box is very good quality unfortunately there was to watch Pads missing the lock looks very flimsy but unfortunately there was no key, have returned to Amazon and I was told to wait another month for a refund very poor serviceLove this box. Keeps dust and dog hair off my collection. And there's something therapeutic about puting a watch safely away at night. Well made and looks great.Liked the finish ans quality, blue colour great too - would recommend
