Not sure if these shoes/slippers are that much better than others you can get for around half as much. I have only worn them for about a week now. I do like them very much. I had a pair of LL Bean slippers for over 2 years that i wore outside (take out the trash, go chase the dog) and inside.They did stretch a bit but were just not usable for any cushion so i needed something else. I did wear them every single day. The insole had worn in the heal other than that they were fine. I'm hoping these last just as long and i will be happy. Though i may also venture out in public a little more with these just depends on where. I don't exactly have that California attitude but I can be lazy at times..As others have said the lining/fur will mat down and form to your foot more and create a bit more space. I typically wear a 10.5 in most shoes that i wear socks with. And these were very snug in size 11's at first with or without socks. After a couple days I noticed they loosened up. Also as others have mentioned the heal does slip. The slip i experience is your heal feeling like it's coming out of the shoe. It's not like the whole shoe comes off just the heal. The back of the heal is pretty short so that is probably part of it and the sole is pretty stiff so it doesn't allow the heal to easily bend upward as you walk. it was annoying for the first day or so but I've just gotten used to it.Overall I don't think anyone would be disappointed but at the same time they may not be for everyone. These can be house slippers, or run to the store, etc. type shoes.The inner shearling was VERY unevenly distributed negatively impacting both wearability and looks. Surprisingly poor quality control from UGG.Returned.I've never been an UGG person because we live in a college town and they're the uniform of choice for college girls.That being said, my wife has a few pair and they seem to be well-made so when I needed slippers, I looked at these. I work from home and I hate going barefoot or ruining socks by wearing them without shoes. I wanted a good pair of slippers with a solid sole because my office chair is higher with a foot rest on it and these looked like they'd do the trick. When I opened the box, I loved the look of them; the suede is uniform and the lining looked soft.The problem arose when I put them on... I normally wear a 12 or 13 (depending on the width), so I got a 13 in these and they were uncomfortably small, specifically very tight around the forefoot, but the length was perfect as sometimes 13's are too long for me. Based on other reviews, I decided to wear them a little while and see if the lining matted down. One of the other reviews I read said the person had to wear them for a month for the lining to mat down and there's no way I was going to wear them that long after paying $100 for them. After about 30-60 minutes, the slippers were comfortable and continue to be comfortable.These typically go on my feet in the morning and they're on my feet whenever I'm home, so I'm very happy that they're so comfortable. The sole is also thick enough that I can do things like let the dog out or take the trash out without having to change into real shoes. I'm now an UGG believer.Love these slippers. This is my second pair. They are expensive but my first pair lasted me 8-9 years of daily wear. I repainted the interior of my entire house in my last pair. Hurts stepping on ladders etc barefoot and we absolutely do not wear shoes in our house. The slippers are warm, comfortable and well made. I still have my first pair I wear when I want to wear socks with my slippers. My old ones the sole still looks like brand new along with the leather but the inside liner is shot and the top is just starting to separate from the bottoms on the inner arch area. The new ones I save for only wearing bare footed with no socks. Socks tend to smash down the interior and yoke the inside out. This will be the only slipper I will ever own again. Price is expensive but cheap $40 slippers make it just a year or two at best and never match the comfort and quality of these. By the time you go through 3-4 pairs of those cheap slippers you could have just purchased one amazing pair and loved them the whole time!I wear a size 9 and ordered a size 9...these things slip at the heel bad and is really annoying. The fit seems ok without socks but the heel slips out and rubs the back of my heels as they go in and out. If I wear them with socks they are tight but the heels still slip. At this point I am just going to cut the back halves off.Update: cut the back halves off and now they are perfect. Easy on and easy off and no heel rub. Just used a razor and followed the seams. Update after 2 weeks...i live these slippers now. Easy in and easy out still a tight fit.These slippers are very comfortable. I have purchased the same slipper five years in a ro., The las few years from Amazon. This is the first year I noted that either my foot grew or the slipper was a tiny bit smaller so you were walking on the heel leather. Please note, the previous years well consistent in size and comfort and would be rated 5-star for anything except the arch support. The rating is for last year's slipper and this year's purchase of the same slipper. Great comfort and durability, just seemed smaller in the last two years.It appears that either Ugg has changed its standard for these slippers or they are knock offs. I will not be buying again ?Wow now you're talking. Comfy as you like size spot on had these as im disabled and need something that stays on hey presto.
