These are the best. They take heavy abuse (daily wear) and keep for many years. If you need comfort and want something that look quality, these are it. Not sure for narrow feet but for regular or wide, these are just right. The product meet with my expectation nicely!!Liked the comfort of wearing itI got these for my husband. He was wearing Birkenstock before. But these are just as good. I highly recommend them. True to size.Use this for summer use slip on. I have the Mephisto Sam Sandals in Tan and Dark brown which I like very much. I do have the Berkenstock Arizona with the soft bed sole. The Zonder looks more durable and same comfort level with the berkenstock but for durability I will go with Mephisto quality. After having to throw away my Birk's after one season, I figured this time, let me try something different. And I am glad I did. Not cheap, but these are excellent sandals. I use them around the house mostly - they are comfortable and easy to slip on and off (although I did need to tighten both straps one hole) . They look to be quite substantial, especially in the sole, which was the weak point for the Birk's. I think I have a new favorite sandal. It is evident from first glance that these are a more substantial sandal. I expect break-in to take no time are a great looking design. These are the 1st pair of Mephisto sandals I've owned and I might need to buy a back-up pair, especially if these become an outside shoe. One word on sizing. I am a 10 1/2 Brannock size D width. I went with the 10, or the EU44 and the fit is spot on. My larger foot measures 11" actual, so you can use that as a reference.I will update as time progresses. This is a fabulous sandal. I’ve had many Birkenstock’s but they never had my size on their website due to Covid I assume. I bought these and they are my new favorite. Great footbed, fabulous Italian leather, and thicker than Birks sole. Very comfortable, and works for beach, garden, or backyard party. I love them and will buy more when needed! I’m a 9 1/2 and bought the 9. Fits perfectly.I did something I've never done, just to get a few pairs of sandals: I bought a dozen styles and several sizes of each. I ended up keeping 3 pair and returning the rest. The Mephisto Zonder was a winner and is my all round favorite for wearing after work and on weekends. I thought it might be a little too much like a slipper w/o the backstrap, but it works great. These also work better than the Birkenstocks that are famous for this style.Warning: These run large. In addition, whoever converted the Euro sizes (e.g. 41, 42, 43...) to U.S. sizes is off considerably. A Euro 42 should be a 9, not an 8, etc. So just be ready to return these if you got the wrong size.A little stiff at first but once broke in they are excellent in terms of comfort. Quality is excellent too. Most say they fit large but for me I ordered my usual size 12 and they are true to size.Love Mephistos. Had the Zach 3 strap and was nervous to try these, but they are just as great! I could walk forever in these. I have wide feet, high arches, and struggle with metatarsal pain and plantar fasciitis. These sandals are amazing for all of my foot issues!!!We use them as slippers so we have support when doing housework. My husband and I both got a pair. Love them. The only drawback is that the sole leaves scuff marks on our wood floor.OK sandal but the rivets around outer side I dislike, give me blisters, have to wear with a pair of socks. Zack sandals by same company are my ultimate favorite.I have worn these for about a month and a half. The sandals seem to be wearing well but the straps chafe if worn for any length of time. It's not bad but I have to stop using them for a bit after wearing them for a couple days to let the sores heal. My Birkenstock's wore out much quicker but fit much better at half the price. I hope they will eventually wear in enough to stop chafing. Otherwise good sandals.
